Nicollet Island Inn Minneapolis, Minneapolis

Staying at this hotel was an absolute delight! The rooms were cozy and clean, with lovely terry robes and a comfortable couch and chair. The beautiful wooded setting and gorgeous chandeliers added to the charm, plus the holiday decorations were a lovely touch. The service was exceptional, from the attentive and humorous waiter to the VIP treatment by the outstanding staff. The location couldn't have been better, minutes from downtown with views of the Mississippi River and within walking distance of all the attractions. The dining experience was fantastic, especially enjoying the 'stuffed grilled cheese sandwich' and 'Chef lunch'. Overall, a wonderful experience with a few minor drawbacks.

Staying at this hotel was a true delight. The rooms had a touch of elegance that made us feel like we were in a scene from Downton Abbey, which our family loved. The service was a mix of aloof moments and very attentive care, with everything from room service to pet amenities available for our furry friend. The outstanding location, with views of the Mississippi River and easy access to downtown, paired perfectly with the outstanding staff who treated us like VIPs. The dining experience was fabulous, featuring delicious dishes, though adding a surcharge for our dog was a downside. Overall, a wonderful stay full of memorable moments.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The room was large and cozy, with plenty of drawers and storage space. However, it did go totally dark when I tried to blow dry my hair in the morning. I found it clean but wished there was a coffee pot or fridge in the room.
